WORD CONVERSATIONS

Our women’s events during IEC provide an opportunity for the women of our industry to get together, have some conversations, share experiences, give/get advice and network. Our WORD Conversations were created to keep the conversations going and involve discussions with a variety of amazing women throughout the year. This is just another step in our working to bring together the women of our industry and provide an opportunity to share, learn from each other and network. The events are held via Zoom and registration is free.

Featured Guest: Krista Toutant, Rubber Division, ACS Chair-elect

This WORD Conversation begins with open networking for approximately 10 minutes followed by a conversation between our featured guest, Krista Toutant, our current Chair-elect, and Terry DeLapa, our 1st ever woman Chair. This event will be held via Zoom and registration is free.

Krista Toutant is a rubber industry professional with over 20 years of focused experience with leading manufacturers and suppliers. Currently, she is a Business Line Manager at RDAbbott Company, Inc. and sits on the company’s Steering Committee. Krista is currently Chair-elect of Rubber Division, ACS and in 2024 will serve as Chair – the 3rd woman to hold this position. Toutant received her MBA from West Virginia University and is a founding member of the Bourbon Trail Elastomer Group. Her previous service with Rubber Division, ACS includes participation in its Membership, Marketing and Future Sites Committees. Toutant was also a panelist for the first WORD (Women Of Rubber Division) Workshop held at the 2019 International Elastomer Conference.
