Webinar: EUDR Now in Force – What Rubber Companies Must Do in 2027
February 3, 2027; 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. ET
Webinar Overview: The EU Deforestation Regulation is no longer on the horizon. It applies now. Since December 30, 2026, large and medium-sized companies placing covered rubber products on the EU market must have due diligence in place, and small and micro companies follow on June 30, 2027.
The rules also changed in 2026. In September, the EU narrowed the product list: conveyor and transmission belts and many finished vulcanized rubber articles (heading 4016) are no longer covered, while natural rubber, compounded rubber, rubber sheets and profiles, new tires and gloves remain in scope. Many companies are now asking a simple question: are we still in?
This webinar walks through what the regulation requires today, which rubber products are affected, and what the first months of enforcement look like, with practical, plain-language guidance for anyone in the rubber supply chain.
Webinar Objectives:
- Confirm whether your products are still in scope after the 2026 product-list changes
- Understand what a complete due diligence statement, geolocation data and risk assessment require now that the regulation applies
- Learn what to expect from authority checks in the first months of enforcement
- Work with natural rubber suppliers and customers to close common documentation gaps
The goal is to leave you with a clear, current picture of your obligations and practical next steps for your compliance program.
