This is a great in-person learning opportunity that provides interactive and hands-on experience in rubber technology. Whether your background is operations, sales, technical, finance or management, the Basic Rubber Technology Course offered by The Los Angeles Rubber Group is invaluable to furthering your success in the rubber industry. The multi-week course begins with an overview of the rubber industry and covers topics such as designing, formulating, compounding, fabricating, and testing with rubber. We hope you can join us! TLARGI is a subdivision of the Rubber Division of the American Chemical Society (ACS).
Course Details:
- The TLARGI Basic Rubber Technology Course will be held Tuesdays, approximately every two (2) weeks beginning September 17th, 2024.
- Course Times: 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
- 10 in-person classes (10 weeks)
- 2 to 4 optional plant tours
- 1 optional graduation dinner
- Classes are interactive with some break out group sessions, show and tell, handouts, talking, and videos and a guest speaker for one or two of the sessions; water and snacks provided
- Limited to 24 students
