Student Outreach Program Sponsorship

Is supporting growth of our industry through outreach to a new generation important to your company? Truly make an impact, while also increasing your visibility with rubber and polymer professionals from all rubber disciplines at the same time, by becoming a sponsor of our Student Outreach Program. Your sponsorship investment will be specifically used towards our efforts and programs related to the Student Outreach Program.

We have two types of sponsorship opportunities within this program:

  • 12-Month Student Outreach Program Sponsorships
  • Experience Elastomers Program Sponsorships during our annual International Elastomer Conference

The 12-Month Sponsorships encompass the following programs

  • Overall sponsorship of the Experience Elastomers High School Program during our International Elastomer Conference
  • Company tours for students K-12
  • Rubber Division, ACS Student Chapter rubber training courses
  • Science teacher professional development
  • Developing and purchasing ‘Hands on Elastomers’ kits for K-5 classrooms

Experience Elastomers Program Sponsorship

Experience Elastomers: A Day of STEM-Based Rubber Inquiries is a component of our 2017 International Elastomer Conference, which will provide hands on experiments that students from grades 9-12 can perform and learn more about the rubber industry in the process. We are inviting area high school students to the conference to enjoy a day of STEM-based rubber learning with the goal of igniting interest and passion for the rubber industry. Interactive tours of the expo floor will also take place.

See below for all details, regarding the levels of sponsorship opportunities available within each of these sponsorship types.

12-month Student Outreach Program Sponsorship

Platinum Level - $10,000

  • Logo displayed on the Rubber Division, ACS website, with a link directly to company’s website
  • Two dedicated emails with content provided from sponsor to be sent to Rubber Division, ACS email database of over 12,500 individuals (must work with RD Marketing Manager to select dates not in conflict with email marketing schedule and content not in conflict with Rubber Division, ACS offerings)
  • If exhibiting at the annual expo – expedited delivery of booth packaging materials at the conclusion of expo
  • Logo displayed in the spring technical meeting's notices and on-site guide, as well as the fall conference/expo’s notices and show planner - also communicating company’s booth number under logo if exhibiting; Meeting notices are mailed to the entire Rubber Division, ACS database (a segment of it for spring meeting) – 1st direct mail piece promoting the event, the Show Planner for fall is featured in the July issue of Rubber & Plastics News, as well as sent to individuals in the Rubber Division, ACS database who aren’t Rubber & Plastics News subscribers – mailed approximately 3 months prior to fall event
  • If exhibiting at the annual expo, company booth highlighted on expo floor plan posted on website, printed in the Show Planner, on-site Show Guide and all Show Daily publications
  • Logo displayed on expo entrance unit or prominently near expo entrance
  • Logo displayed in the on-site Show Guide and each Show Daily publication produced and distributed at the fall conference/expo, also communicating company’s booth number under logo if exhibiting
  • A dedicated article (content provided by sponsor) to be featured in one Show Daily publication produced and distributed at the fall conference/expo
  • Logo displayed in the Post Show Daily publication featured in an issue of Rubber World Magazine and also mailed to individuals in the Rubber Division, ACS database who are not Rubber World Magazine subscribers
  • "Platinum Sponsor" table (high boy table) provided to display company literature/promotional items during the spring technical meeting and the fall conference/expo; location to be determined on-site at the events
  • Access to a separate on-site registration area at the fall conference/expo for employees of sponsor’s company to use
  • Logo prominently displayed on signage at the spring technical meeting and the fall conference/expo, also communicating company’s booth number under logo if exhibiting
  • Opportunity to have a company representative give a presentation in the Expo Theater during the fall expo
  • Ad on conference website rubberiec.org
  • Acknowledgement during the Business & Awards Meeting during the fall conference/expo
  • Platinum Level Sponsor acknowledgement via a floor sticker at your expo booth if exhibiting
  • One eight-person table with chairs or two high boy tables at the Welcome Reception at the fall conference/expo
  • Opportunity for additional exposure and promotion at each fall conference/expo as any opportunity arises that may vary from venue to venue (inclusion on additional signage, electronic boards, etc. at conference venue and possibly on the expo floor)
  • Logo displayed on Student Outreach Program signage at our International Elastomer Conference on years when a student outreach focused program is taking place

Gold Level - $5,000

  • Logo displayed on the Rubber Division, ACS website, with a link directly to company’s website
  • One dedicated email with content provided from sponsor to be sent to Rubber Division, ACS email database of over 12,500 individuals (must work with RD Marketing Manager to select dates not in conflict with email marketing schedule and content not in conflict with Rubber Division, ACS offerings)

Bronze Level - $750

  • Logo displayed on Student Outreach Program signage at our International Elastomer Conference on years when a student outreach focused program is taking place

Experience Elastomers Program Sponsorship

Boxed Lunches - $6,500

We will be providing lunch to the students participating in the event.

  • Logo displayed in the on-site Show Guide distributed at the fall conference/expo
  • Logo displayed on signage at our International Elastomer Conference & Experience Elastomers event
  • Logo displayed on signage at the boxed lunch station at the event
  • Acknowledgement on the Student Outreach Program section of the Rubber Division, ACS website & International Elastomer Conference website, with a link directly to company’s website

Bottled Water Station - $2,000

Keep our students refreshed throughout the day.

  • Logo displayed in the on-site Show Guide distributed at the fall conference/expo
  • Logo displayed on signage at our International Elastomer Conference & Experience Elastomers event
  • Logo displayed on signage at the bottle water station at the event
  • Acknowledgement on the Student Outreach Program section of the Rubber Division, ACS website & International Elastomer Conference website, with a link directly to company’s website

Busing/Transportation For Students - $1,000

Move our kids in the right direction to this event and into our industry. Some schools participating won’t have busing/transportation for students and since this program is asking each school to supply their own way for their students to attend our Experience Elastomers day, we’d love to have a sponsor for schools that need help funding their trip.

Safety Glasses - $500

Sponsor the eyewear protection we need to keep our students safe during the experiments.

  • Acknowledgement on the Student Outreach Program section of the Rubber Division, ACS website & International Elastomer Conference website, with a link directly to company’s website

Throughout the year we will ask companies for certain materials we will need for the experiments.

Drawstring Sports Pack Giveaway - $2,000

Be recognized with your company logo prominently placed on the sports packs that will be carried by 150 high school students during this event.

Hard Case Headphones Giveaway - $2,000

Be recognized with your company logo prominently placed on hard case headphones each student will receive.

Gift Cards For Prizes - $250-$1,000

We will be conducting a prize drawing for the students to reward them for participating in the event.

  • Logo displayed on signage at our International Elastomer Conference & Experience Elastomers event
