Rubber Chemistry and Technology Special Issue Alert & Publication Excellence Award

Dear elastomer community colleagues,

I am writing to invite you to take a look at the recent issue in Rubber Chemistry and Technology, which is a tribute issue in honor of Professor Alan G. Thomas, who was a pioneer in fracture mechanics of elastomers and advanced many other areas of rubber science. Drs. James Busfield, Will Mars and Alan Muhr served as editors of this special tribute issue. Click here to view the table of contents.

A few years ago, we initiated a Publication Excellence Award to recognize the paper published in Rubber Chemistry and Technology each year that best exemplifies excellence in scientific publishing. Click here to learn about it.

The winning authors are honored each year with engraved plaques, a shared prize of $2,000 and are granted open access for their publication. We only publish about 40 papers each year in our journal, so there is a good chance that a quality paper on an interesting topic will rise to the top.

We welcome you to submit a research paper or review article by clicking here.

Rubber Chemistry and Technology is now in its 97th year of publication. I want to take the opportunity to sincerely thank the authors, peer reviewers and editors who make our journal possible.

Thank you,

Chris Robertson
