Locating the Rubber Division Office

The Rubber Division's office is located on The University of Akron's downtown campus on South Forge Street. Beside the building and across the street are large parking lots, and diagonally across the street is a new 4-level parking deck, all of which are open to students, faculty/staff and those with valid parking permits.

Directions & Parking

Directions to campus are best found from The University of Akron's New Interactive Campus Map Page . Select the Academic link on the right side, then click on "Polymer Engineering Academic Center" to see where our building is. You can then click on the Parking link to see nearby parking lots and decks. Selecting Parking allows you to type in a starting address to get directions.

Parking Permits

To request a parking permit, which will allow you to park in any student or faculty/staff lot or parking deck, contact the staff member you plan to meet at least one week in advance of your meeting if you would like a permit mailed to you. Otherwise, permits can be picked up in the Division office on the day of your visit.
